Areas of practice

Dr Andreas Kloyer is a partner at Luther Rechtsanwaltsgesellschaft in Frankfurt and London (UK). He advises investors (private equity companies and strategic investors) in the areas of mergers & acquisitions, banking and capital markets law as well as in the structuring of complex national and international financings. Furthermore, Dr Andreas Kloyer has extensive experience in advising family businesses and entrepreneurial families.

He is a regular lecturer at universities on corporate and banking law. Dr Andreas Kloyer is a member and officer of various international business law associations (e.g. the International Bar Association - IBA) and business circles. As Luther's “International Partner”, he is responsible for Luther’s international network of Best Friends law firms in more than 100 jurisdictions. This is also due to his very active international M&A practice. He also represents Luther at unyer Global Advisors, where he is the actual deputy chair of the unyer Assembly.

After studying law in Passau and Munich and completing his doctorate at the University of Kiel, Dr Andreas Kloyer worked for various renowned international law firms. Dr Andreas Kloyer joined Luther in 2012. He was a lecturer for German and European corporate law and banking and capital markets law at the University of Augsburg for more than ten years.
