Julia Walther

Julia Walther provides public procurement law advice and assists contracting authorities with complex procurement processes. In addition, she also regularly performs the function of external procurement office for contracting authorities in public procurement procedures and is the contact when it comes to preparing tender documents, processing bidders’ queries, evaluating applications to participate and bids, and organising and holding negotiations.

Her services further include comprehensively documenting and managing procurement procedures via an e-procurement platform. Moreover, she helps companies which receive subsidies to implement the public procurement provisions in an effective and results-oriented manner.

Finally, Julia Walther also specialises in matters pertaining to corporate law, in particular with regard to municipal enterprises.

Julia Walther studied law at the University of Leipzig (Germany). Her subsequent legal training in the District of the Regional Court of Leipzig in the German state of Saxony included working for the German football club RB Leipzig.

Julia Walther joined Luther in April 2023.
