Valerie Blettenberg advises on all matters pertaining to energy law, with a particular focus on trade in energy and energy derivates, as well as on mergers and acquisitions in the energy sector.
Valerie Blettenberg studied law with an emphasis on international law at the universities of Heidelberg and Cologne (both Germany), Paris (France) and Thessaloniki (Greece). After graduating from university, she went on to obtain a doctorate for a thesis on central issues regarding the European treaties. Valerie Blettenberg carried out her legal training in the Cologne Higher Regional Court District in the German state of North Rhine-Westphalia.
