Luther promotes ten partners and twelve counsels for the 2025/2026 financial year

Luther Rechtsanwaltsgesellschaft mbH continues its growth course and underscores its clear commitment to promoting and developing its employees. Ten colleagues were promoted to partner status as of July 1, 2025, at the beginning of the new fiscal year. Twelve more will assume responsibility as counsel in the future.

  • Caroline Ackermann joined Luther in 2022 as a lawyer specializing in public procurement law and brings her diverse experience and expertise to bear in providing tailored advice to public sector clients and companies.
  • Ofeliia Assa joined Luther in 2019 and has extensive experience in advising leading German, Australian, European, and US asset managers and credit institutions.
  • Dr. Johannes Becker advises on corporate law and M&A. His practice focuses on advising on national and international corporate transactions, joint ventures and corporate restructuring.
  • Dr. Thorsten Becker joined Luther in 2023. He advises domestic and foreign clients on national and international transactions in corporate law, in particular on acquisitions and sales of companies.
  • Anne Biebler provides comprehensive advice to start-ups and listed companies on contractual and corporate law matters, particularly in the healthcare and life sciences sector.
  • Bernhard Burkert has been admitted to the bar since 2012 and works at Luther. He advises on all issues relating to public construction law and environmental law.
  • Oliver Köhler joined Luther in 2025 and specializes in advising on complex financial restructurings as well as StaRUG, self-administration, and protective shield proceedings.
  • Alexander F. Liebing joined Luther in 2024. He primarily advises clients on financing rounds (start-ups/VC/PE), the sale and acquisition of companies and company interests (M&A) and succession issues.
  • Robert Pacholski has been with Luther since 2006 and has many years of experience in designing and implementing corporate restructuring measures as well as in collective bargaining negotiations and collective bargaining disputes, particularly in the healthcare sector.
  • Dr. Frederic Tewes has been a lawyer at Luther since 2017. He advises domestic and foreign clients on all aspects of real estate law and construction and architectural law.

In the 2024/2025 financial year, which ended on June 30, 2025, the Luther partnership welcomed the following new external members:

  • April 2025: Georg Scherpf represents clients in commercial and investment arbitration proceedings.
  • March 2025: Lars Bollensen specializes in private construction and architectural law as well as real estate law.
  • January 2025: Dr. David von Saucken is admitted to practice law in Germany and England. As head of Luther's London office, he advises clients from the United Kingdom.
  • November 2024: Dr. Astrid Seehafer is a specialist in product compliance, product liability, and ESG.
  • October 2024: Dr. Anika Wendelstein is a renowned disputes expert who represents clients in complex commercial disputes before arbitration tribunals and state courts.
