Dr Oliver Kairies' consulting services focus on complex tendering procedures, privatisations and restructuring projects in the healthcare sector, as well as strategic cooperation between inter-municipal hospital associations. He has extensive experience in providing structural, legal and organisational support for complex merger projects, including the development of sustainable management and organisational structures.
Another focus of his work is the reliable implementation of restructuring and reorganisation in the inpatient sector/healthcare system, particularly in projects of high political, economic and strategic importance. Dr Kairies regularly leads interdisciplinary teams of legal, financial and health economics experts with the aim of creating sustainable care and organisational structures.
Another focus of his consulting activities is advising on and coordinating national and international corporate transactions and supporting investors in entering the German market and establishing/expanding outpatient structures (MVZ). Dr Oliver Kairies also advises on a large number of insolvency proceedings in the German healthcare sector on the M&A side on behalf of insolvency administrators, institutions or strategic investors.
After finishing his vocational training in banking, Dr Oliver Kairies studied law in Hanover, which included training posts in Frankfurt and London. He received his doctorate in 2001 and was admitted to the bar the same year. He joined Luther’s predecessor firm in 2001.
