Michael Ströbel specialises in venture capital and private equity investments as well as M&A transactions. He advises national and international investors and companies on the sale and acquisition of targets, strategic and financial investments as well as on other (pre-acquisition or post-acquisition) structuring considerations.
Michael Ströbel has a keen interest and special expertise in the areas of IT and high-tech ventures and start-ups, where he supports founders in particular in structuring their corporate structure, implementing their corporate governance (articles of association, shareholders' agreements, etc.) and (employee and founder) incentive schemes as well as advising venture capital investors in the context of investment rounds and the corresponding shareholder/investment agreements.
Michael studied law in Bayreuth (Germany) and then undertook a course of study at the University of Auckland (New Zealand), which he successfully completed with a Master of Laws (LL.M.) degree. Michael Ströbel completed his legal training at the Higher Regional Court of Hamburg (Germany), focusing on commercial law.
Michael Ströbel is active in various initiatives and networks in the venture capital scene (especially in Stuttgart) and supports local accelerators as a lecturer on legal topics.
