Christian Brauns focuses on corporate law. In particular, he advises national and international companies and their owners comprehensively on structural corporate measures such as formations and transformations, on all forms of participations and company purchases, and on shareholder disputes. Another focus is real estate law, as well as inheritance law and its interfaces with corporate law. Furthermore, Christian Brauns represents his clients in judicial and arbitration proceedings.
Christian Brauns studied law at the Universities of Freiburg (Germany) and Linköping (Sweden). He then carried out his legal training at the Higher Regional Court of Karlsruhe (Germany), which also included completing training periods at large international law firms.
Christian Brauns was admitted to the German Bar in early 2016. He initially worked in a law firm and notary’s office that specialised in corporate and inheritance law before moving on to Luther in 2018.
