Jan Spiering primarily advises on matters pertaining to tax law, with a particular emphasis on the taxation of the public sector and non-profit organisations and their respective companies and holdings.

Jan Spiering passed his first state law exam in Berlin (Germany) in 2018, following which he went on to receive his LL.M. in tax law from the University of Osnabrück (Germany) in 2019. He then carried out his legal training at the Higher Regional Court of Celle (Germany), passing his second state law exam in 2021. Before joining Luther in 2024, Jan Spiering worked for a large audit firm in the area of tax law.
