Areas of practice

Jens Kaiser advises clients from the public sector as well as regionally and globally operating private companies on construction and architectural law, state subsidies and European state aid law. A focus of his practice lies in the monitoring of disrupted construction processes on both the client and contractor side as well as in the drafting and negotiation of construction contracts. Another focus is on litigation, particularly in the area of property development.

Jens Kaiser has extensive expertise in Public International Law and European Law and works in both German and English.


After obtaining his first state examination, Jens Kaiser worked as a scientific assistant at the University of Jena and at the Walther Schücking Institute for International Law at Kiel University from 2014 to 2018. During his legal traineeship in Thuringia, he worked for the Thuringian Ministry of Economic Affairs and in Luther's international arbitration department in Hamburg.

Jens Kaiser joined Luther in 2019.
