Elisabeth Kohoutek

Elisabeth Kohoutek is a life sciences attorney and digital health expert providing strategic legal counsel to pharmaceutical companies, medical device manufacturers, digital health innovators, and entrepreneurs in the food sector. Elisabeth has extensive experience in regulatory compliance, data privacy, product liability, telemedicine, use of health data and clinical research. Elisabeth advises clients on liability and legal enforcement and represents clients in court. Her regulatory practice is complemented by comprehensive experience in conducting due diligence evaluations of life sciences targets for manufacturers, private equity firms, and investment banks.

Elisabeth Kohoutek studied law at the Universities of Heidelberg (Germany) and Barcelona (Spain). Her legal training involved working at the Frankfurt Regional Court and in law firms in Frankfurt a.M. (Germany) and New York (USA). Elisabeth Kohoutek was admitted to the German Bar in 2012.

Before moving to Luther in 2024, she worked for an internationally operating law firm.
