Maximilian Issels, LL.M. (Stellenbosch)

Maximilian Issels advises clients in connection with national and international M&A transactions, as well as providing ongoing advice on all matters pertaining to corporate law. He further advises companies on commercial and regulatory issues.

Corporate/M&A

Maximilian Issels studied law at Ludwig Maximilian University in Munich (Germany) and also spent some time studying abroad, at the University of Salamanca (Spain), on an Erasmus scholarship. During his subsequent legal training in Munich, he already worked in the field of corporate law, both at a large and at a boutique law firm.

Maximilian Issels joined Luther in 2021. After interrupting his work to go to Stellenbosch (South Africa) and acquire an LL.M. degree, he returned to Luther in late 2023 as a member of the Munich team.
