Denis Schütz advises on domestic and cross-border mergers and acquisitions. He advises companies, private equity investors and other financial investors on corporate acquisitions and on general matters pertaining to corporate law.
He further specialises in venture capital, assisting his clients with venture capital and growth financing and with the preparation and implementation of successful exit transactions, in particular multi-party transactions.
In addition, Denis Schütz also provides comprehensive advice on the design and implementation of employee and management participation programmes.
Denis Schütz studied law at Heinrich Heine University in Dusseldorf (Germany).
Following his legal training in Dusseldorf, part of which involved working at the German Federal Foreign Office in Windhoek (Namibia), he started his career as a corporate/M&A lawyer in 2018, working at CMS and a corporate/M&A boutique law firm in Dusseldorf, amongst others, before moving to Luther in January 2025.
