Vita

Dr Thomas Schwieters studied law with an emphasis on German and European IP and competition law at the University of Osnabrück (Germany). Simultaneously, he successfully completed a number of courses to obtain an additional certificate in economics. After earning his doctorate with a thesis on an artificial intelligence/patent law topic, he carried out his legal training in the District of the Higher Regional Court of Celle (Germany), part of which involved working in Hanover (Germany) and in Ho Chi Minh City (Vietnam).

Thomas Schwieters joined Luther as a lawyer in 2025.
