Ricarda Maria Essel advises and represents medical care centres, medical care centre groups, medical and dental practices, tech companies, digital health app developers and investors in the health care sector, amongst others, on panel doctor law and all regulatory issues related to the provision of out-patient services and digital service provision.

In particular, she devises and develops business models, advises on access to the statutory health insurance system, provides transaction advice and structures cooperation agreements.

Ricarda Maria Essel concentrates her advisory services on panel doctor law, medical and dental professional law, the drafting of contracts and medical devices law (in-vitro diagnostics/laboratory, software/digital health apps).

Ricarda Maria Essel is a certified specialist in medical law. She studied law at the University of Hamburg (Germany) and has been practising as a health care/life sciences lawyer since 2016, initially in an international commercial law firm and then in a boutique medical law firm.
