Areas of practice

Dr Daniel Schubmann advises both buy-side and sell-side clients on national and international mergers and acquisitions. In addition, he specialises in privatisations and structuring transactions in the health care industry and the public sector. Furthermore, he also advises public-law institutions on corporate law issues in connection with their holdings in companies organised under private law. Daniel Schubmann’s services also include conducting corresponding corporate law disputes.

Dr Daniel Schubmann studied law at Leibniz University in Hanover (Germany) from 2001 to 2005, where he also received his doctorate for a thesis on a public business law topic. As part of his legal training, he worked for the German Lawyers’ Association (Deutscher Juristentag) and for a large international law firm in the banking and public law departments. Daniel Schubmann was admitted to the German Bar in 2009 and, from 2009 to 2011, worked in the corporate/M&A department of an international commercial law firm in Dusseldorf (Germany). He joined Luther’s Hanover office as a lawyer in 2011 and has been a certified specialist in commercial and corporate law since 2016.
