Sophia Meyer, Maître en Droit

Sophia Meyer advises domestic and international clients on all matters pertaining to German and European antitrust law, often with an industry focus on the health care sector. Her services include representing clients in merger control procedures and in cartel investigations and administrative fine proceedings by antitrust authorities. She further advises on the structuring of cooperation agreements between competitors, as well as on distribution and supply agreements. Sophia Meyer also assists clients with investment control under German foreign trade and payments law (foreign direct investment – FDI) and with EU state aid law issues (in particular, Foreign Subsidies Regulation – FSR).

Sophia Meyer studied law at Humboldt University in Berlin (Germany) and at Panthéon-Assas University (Paris II) in Paris (France). In Paris, she graduated from university with a Bachelor’s degree in French law and her Maîtrise in international law. As part of her legal training at the Higher Regional Court of Berlin (Germany), Sophia Meyer worked in an international commercial law firm and at the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Climate Action, among others. Sophia Meyer joined Luther in 2024.
