Alexandra Gebauer advises domestic and international clients on all matters pertaining to German and European antitrust law, with a particular emphasis on investigations and fine proceedings conducted by antitrust authorities, compliance issues, merger control, and antitrust damages proceedings. In addition, Alexandra Gebauer assists clients with the structuring of distribution and supply contracts and with cooperation agreements between competitors. Her services further include advising clients on investment control issues (FDI) under German foreign trade and payments law.
Alexandra Gebauer studied law with an emphasis on criminal law at the University of Freiburg (Germany). Whilst at university, she took part in the Erasmus programme, spending two semesters studying at the University of Stockholm (Sweden). After graduating from university, she worked as a research assistant in a law firm in Frankfurt (Germany) that specialised in white-collar criminal law. Alexandra Gebauer carried out her legal training with the German state of Hesse, in the district of the Frankfurt Regional Court. As part of this training, she also spent several months working for Luther’s employment law team. Alexandra Gebauer joined Luther’s Munich office in June 2023 and is a member of the antitrust team.
