Martina Steude works in medical and corporate law. She mainly advises health care service providers and paying authorities and their respective associations and self-governing bodies.
Martina Steude specialises in panel doctor and panel dentist law and in contract and corporate law for the medical and health care professions. In the field of corporate law, she assists in particular with transactions and the restructuring of hospitals, medical care centres and doctors’ surgeries. In addition, she also advises on all matters pertaining to professional and remuneration law for doctors and psychotherapists, on hospital and hospital financing law, including requirements planning, and on medical devices law.
Martina Steude is a member of the working groups “In-patient and out-patient service providers” and “Medical technology”, which form part of Luther’s Health Care and Life Science industry group.
Martina Steude studied law at the University of Kiel, specialising in health law, and completed a Master of Law in Cape Town. She also successfully completed the specialist lawyer course for medical law.
She has already worked as a trainee lawyer in various medical law firms and at the Hamburg Medical Association. Following her legal clerkship, she worked as an in-house lawyer for a private hospital group in the medical law and insurance department before joining Luther in 2022.
