Dr Pia Rademaker advises clients on domestic and cross-border mergers and acquisitions, in particular in the fields of venture capital and private equity.
In addition to her corporate law focus, she also advises on company pension issues and tax aspects, for example, when outsourcing pension obligations, optimising the balance sheet or creating liquidity by restructuring pension commitments.
Her services further include providing personal advice to managing directors and management and supervisory board members.
Dr Pia Rademaker studied law at the University of Münster (Germany) and carried out her legal training at the Münster Regional Court. She was admitted to the German Bar in 2012.
Pia Rademaker started specialising in corporate law at an early stage. Whilst working for a renowned German law firm, she pursued her doctorate at the University of Münster, writing her thesis on a comparative law topic (“The legal treatment of shareholder loans under German and Austrian law – a comparative law study examining the expansion of the risk-carrying contributions of a limited liability company’s shareholders resulting from shareholder loan financing”). She earned her LL.M. in International and European Business Law with distinction from the University of Vienna (Austria) in 2014.
