Fabien Benjamin Wehner, LL.M. (Stellenbosch)

Fabien Benjamin Wehner advises on national and international contract, commercial and distribution law, with a particular focus on the automotive supply industry. He assists in judicially enforcing and defending claims (in particular with respect to warranty, liability and damages issues) arising from various types of contract, with an emphasis on supplier disputes in the automotive industry. Fabien Benjamin Wehner further advises clients on matters pertaining to distribution and purchasing law and he also takes an interest in logistics issues arising along the supply chain.

Fabien Benjamin Wehner studied law at the University of Bayreuth (Germany), completing at the same time a supplementary business administration programme. He then carried out his legal training in the District of the Higher Regional Court of Bamberg (Germany). During his legal training, Fabien Benjamin Wehner inter alia worked in the legal department of a listed French industrial group. After passing his second state law exam, he successfully completed a one-year Master of Laws programme in Stellenbosch (South Africa), focusing on international trade relations, amongst other things. Prior to joining Luther in 2023, he worked as Legal Counsel in the legal department of a large German automotive supplier, as well as for various internationally operating, medium-sized German law firms.
