Areas of practice

Frederike Peters supports clients in Legal Project Management. Her particular focus is on advising projects in the Health Care & Life Science and Real Estate & Infrastructure sector. She is part of the Luther.Solutions team, which completes Luther’s legal advisory fields and service portfolio with digital solution modules (legal tech), elements and methods for designing workflows and processes (legal design) and legal project management.

Vita

Frederike Peters studied law at the University of Augsburg and at the Humboldt University in Berlin, specialising in civil law and legal advice. During her studies she worked for a boutique law firm for commercial criminal law in Berlin. After passing the First Legal Examination, Ms. Peters worked as a research assistant in a law firm in Potsdam and afterwards gained corporate experience as an employee in business and law in a collecting society. After working at Charité - Universitätsmedizin Berlin as a project manager for the Chief Medical Officer and subsequently as a legal expert for the faculty's contract management, Frederike Peters joined Luther in 2022 as a senior consultant in Berlin.

  • comprehensive Legal Project Management as well as support of the project-related Procurement Process Design in the context of advising a legally complex Decarbonization Project of a German Iron and Steel Manufacturer with regard to State Aid and Public Procurement Law, in particular by monitoring the project status, managing and con-trolling the legal activities and tasks as well as ensuring consistent legal advice by the Luther-Teams involved
  • project management in the scope of a project to control the Covid-19-pandemic of a university hospital and a federal state
  • legal support of a large national project of all German university hospitals, funded by the federal government, to establish a research data infrastructure
  • process mapping and process design for the improvement of internal workflows in the legal department of a mid-class company with a focus on licensing issues
  • drafting of contracts and contract negotiations with international companies, preparation and monitoring of comprehensive contract and negotiation overviews
