Robert Goerend is a Partner and a member of the Corporate/M&A and Dispute Resolution practices at Luther’s Luxembourg office. He provides legal advice with respect to corporate financing, private equity transactions and mergers & acquisitions. He regularly advises start-ups and provides full scale advice which ranges from the initial structuring over the first rounds of financing to the implementation of exit strategies. His expertise covers e-commerce and blockchain related questions.
Robert regularly advises on special situations and crises (restructurings and corporate insolvencies). This includes providing advice and representation in managerial liability and internal recourse matters.
Robert has extensive expertise in handling corporate and commercial litigations with a focus on shareholder litigation, debt collection & enforcement and litigation involving regulated entities (banks & fund structures).
Robert Goerend has graduated from the University of Aix-Marseille III in France. He obtained a Master’s degree in business law and a postgraduate diploma in corporate law, tax law and accounting (diplôme de magistère droit, fiscalité et comptabilité). Robert joined Luther in 2010 and was admitted to the Luxembourg Bar in 2011.
