Robert Goerend is a Partner and a member of the Corporate/M&A and Dispute Resolution practices at Luther’s Luxembourg office. He provides comprehensive legal counsel on corporate financing, private equity transactions, and mergers & acquisitions.
Robert regularly provides strategic guidance in special situations, including corporate restructurings and insolvencies.
Robert has extensive expertise in handling corporate and commercial litigations with a focus on shareholder litigation and highstakes matters involving regulated entities, such as banks and fund structures.
Robert Goerend has graduated from the University of Aix-Marseille III in France. He obtained a Master’s degree in business law and a postgraduate diploma in corporate law, tax law and accounting (diplôme de magistère droit, fiscalité et comptabilité). Robert joined Luther in 2010 and was admitted to the Luxembourg Bar in 2011.
He also serves as Co-President of the Legal Committee of the American Chamber of Commerce in Luxembourg.
