Dr Thomas Halberkamp

Dr Thomas Halberkamp specialises in national and cross-border transaction processes, including post-acquisition integration. His services range from the legal structuring of transactions and due diligence reviews through to contract negotiations and also include joint venture agreements. Supporting clients in buy-out transactions (MBO, MBI, LBO) has become an increasingly significant part of his services. His clients include strategic investors, financial investors and the public sector. In the field of corporate law, he advises in particular on international reorganisations and restructurings.

Dr Thomas Halberkamp studied Business Management and Law in Göttingen, Germany, and received his doctorate there in corporate group law at the faculty under Prof. Immenga. He was admitted to the bar in 1999 and joined Luther’s predecessor firm in 2000. Dr Thomas Halberkamp is head of the Hanover office.
