Jonathan Wrede primarily advises and represents private companies and public sector clients in the areas of private construction and architectural law, contract law relating to infrastructure and transport, and information technology law. His expertise extends in particular to the strategic planning of projects, providing advice throughout the project lifecycle – from contract negotiations and implementation through to representation in legal disputes. He is a recognised expert in providing advice throughout the construction phase of complex building, infrastructure and plant construction projects.

Vita

Jonathan Wrede studied law at the University of Göttingen. He completed his legal training in the district of the Higher Regional Court of Braunschweig, with placements at the Federal Ministry of Justice and at an international commercial law firm in Berlin. He has been practising as a solicitor at Luther since 2025.

  • Extensive experience in the out-of-court advisory and court representation of an airport operator in relation to the implementation of construction contracts, the enforcement and defence of claims against contractors and planners, in particular claims management, the drafting of supplemental agreements, and the resolution of construction schedule-related issues.
  • Ongoing strategic advice and legal representation of a globally active Berlin-based architectural practice in connection with various high-end residential developments, regularly involving project volumes in the high double- and triple-digit million range.
