Ms. Sonam Rohella is a dual-qualified lawyer, admitted as an Attorney in India and as a Barrister and Solicitor in Ontario, Canada. She holds a law degree from Delhi and a Master of Laws (LL.M.) from the National University of Singapore.
With over 14 years of experience, Ms. Sonam specializes in corporate and commercial law, with expertise in general corporate advisory, legal risk management and compliance, due diligence, employment advisory, contract drafting and negotiation, and business management assistance. She has been associated with Luther since 2012, advising international companies on robust market entry strategies, legal structuring, and regulatory compliance, as well as assisting with cross-border transactions, business expansion planning, and ongoing corporate governance matters. Ms. Sonam has extensive experience representing clients in complex commercial investments across Canada. She has also assisted clients in business acquisitions and dispositions, franchise purchases, corporate reorganizations, and the drafting of comprehensive commercial contracts.
