HR LUX Trade Fair - Whistleblowing

Luther Luxembourg is pleased to invite you to the upcoming HR LUX Trade Fair organized by EiviLux on 9 March 2023.

HR LUX Trade Fair is dedicated to Human Resources professionals. Its goal is to provide a space for exchange and to share information, giving new perspectives while developing your professional network.

This year, the theme of Management is once again in the spotlight, as it is of great importance in companies that have to adapt and evolve with a constantly changing environment, while keeping their employees motivated.

Different conferences are organized throughout the day with key expert speakers and the exhibition will end with a conference by Michel Poulaert entitled: "The audacity of optimism". All managers will find the keys to boosting the motivation and energy of their employees, to managing with more positivity, to creating more commitment and to generating the surpassing of oneself and one's teams.

Marie Sinniger (Avocat à la Cour, Partner) and Thomas Alberti (Avocat à la Cour, Senior Associate) will participate in this fair and give a presentation on Whistleblowing in Luxembourg.

Whistleblowers are more and more in the spotlight within the European area. The provisions of Directive (EU) 2019/1937, which should ensure the protection of whistleblowers within the European Union, will be transposed into Luxembourg law very soon via a draft law n°7945. Considering the impact that this transposition will have, as of 2023, for Luxembourg employers, especially those employing more than 50 employees, it seems appropriate to present this draft law.
