Jan Lachhein is a member of Luther’s Real Estate team. As a legal advisor, he focuses on supporting the public sector in matters relating to public procurement law, for example, when structuring and implementing complex procurement projects, as well as on representing the interests of bidders in contract award procedures.
Jan Lachhein studied law at the University of Münster (Germany) and at Roma Tre University (Italy). He carried out his legal training at the Higher Regional Court of Düsseldorf (Germany), which included training periods at the Ministry of Environmental and Consumer Protection of North Rhine-Westphalia (Germany) and the German Embassy in Baku (Azerbaijan). Jan Lachhein worked for an international business law firm in 2018 and 2019 before joining Luther as a lawyer in 2020. Since 2019, he has additionally been a visiting lecturer at the University of Applied Sciences for Police and Public Administration in North Rhine-Westphalia. Since June 2023, Jan Lachhein is a certified specialist in public procurement law.
