Franz-Rudolf Groß specializes in anti-trust and energy law. He advises national and international undertakings on all aspects of competition law, including German and European merger control, antitrust proceedings, contractual issues and the abuse of dominant positions. Furthermore, he focusses on energy industry law and advises undertakings on regulatory as well as on contractual issues.
Franz-Rudolf Groß studied law at the Saarland University in Saarbrücken, Germany and at the Rijkuniversiteit in Utrecht, The Netherlands. During his legal traineeship, he worked with the Department for Energy Industry Regulation of the Ministry of Economic Affairs of the German state of Saarland and with a law firm in San Francisco, USA. In 2002, Franz-Rudolf Groß was awarded his Master of Laws (LL.M.) degree in European Law at Queen Mary College of the University of London, UK.. He was admitted to the bar and joined Luther in 2003.
