Areas of practice
Jana Karras advises public sector organisations on the implementation of complex procurement projects. She specialises in providing public procurement advice for infrastructure projects and complex contract and concession awards, particularly in the public transport sector, including advising private and public-sector companies on large-scale procurement procedures.
In addition, Jana Karras works as part of the Ukraine Desk and assists clients with legal matters relating to Ukraine.
Vita
Jana Karras, a Ukraine-trained lawyer with professional experience in large investment projects, subsequently studied law at the University of Greifswald (Germany), following which she went on to obtain her doctorate in energy efficiency law. Jana Karras has been working at Luther in Leipzig since 2024, initially as a trainee solicitor and subsequently as a solicitor.
