Selin Sahin studied law with a focus on international and Europrean law at Heinrich Heine University in Dusseldorf (Germany) and also spent a semester studying abroad at Maastricht University (Netherlands). After passing her first state law exam, she worked as a research assistant in an international commercial law firm, where she dealt with energy law issues. Selin Sahin carried out her legal training in the District of the Dusseldorf Higher Regional Court, part of which involved working in international commercial law firms in Dusseldorf and Istanbul (Turkey) and at the Federal Foreign Office in Berlin (Germany).
