Luther advises the sale of measurement equipment manufacturer Discom to British Spectris group

Luther Rechtsanwaltsgesellschaft mbH has supported the sale of DISCOM – Elektronische Systeme und Komponenten GmbH, the manufacturer of measurement equipment in Göttingen, which is active in the area of acoustic quality analysis, to the British Spectris corporation. The corporation listed at the London Stock Exchange specialises in the manufacture and sale of precision instruments and controls. With the takeover of DISCOM it will expand its offer of test instruments specifically for the automotive industry.

The corporation listed at the London Stock Exchange specialises in the manufacture and sale of precision instruments and controls. With the takeover of DISCOM it will expand its offer of test instruments specifically for the automotive industry.

The medium-sized company DISCOM, which until now was privately held, is integrated by Spectris into its business area "Testing and Measurement", and thus will be part of the global network of the Spectris portfolio company Brüel & Kjær Sound & Vibration Measurement A/S (Denmark).

The systems are in use world-wide in the automotive industry and their partners for the test of units in the production environment.
