Vita

Uwe Gerstenberg began his security career with a government position in the police and military service. Further positions led him to the private sector as corporate security manager of an international financial services group and to the security services industry as authorised signatory and managing director of one of the largest security companies in Germany. As co-founder and managing partner, he has headed the consulting plus group of companies since 1997.
In addition, Uwe Gerstenberg founded what is now the Institute for Crisis Prevention in 2001. He has been a member of the foundation and board of trustees of the German Forum for Crime Prevention since 2003 and was its vice-president from 2009 to 2014. He is also a member of the User Council for Compliance and Integrity and founder of the Future Safe House in Essen.
Uwe Gerstenberg is the author of numerous book contributions and specialist articles. He is a recognised security expert and is, among other things, a Future Advisor at the ZukunftsInstitut in Vienna and Frankfurt.
