Dr Elisabeth Sechtem

Dr Elisabeth Sechtem advises domestic and international clients on all matters pertaining to individual and collective employment law, as well as on company pension law and on residence law issues.

In addition to advising on the employment law aspects of corporate transactions, she concentrates her legal practice on the preparation and implementation of complex HR restructurings, including negotiations with employee representatives, where necessary.

Elisabeth Sechtem represents her clients in and out of court.

Dr Elisabeth Sechtem studied law at Christian Albrecht University in Kiel (Germany). After carrying out her legal training with a particular emphasis on employment law, including working in the Employment Law Department of Gleiss Lutz in Stuttgart (Germany), she passed her second state law exam in 2017.

Elisabeth Sechtem was admitted to the German Bar in 2019. Before moving to Luther, she worked for two large international law firms, where she primarily advised on employment law issues.

Elisabeth Sechtem joined Luther in 2023.
