Sustainability in the focus: LichtBlick acquires all shares in solargrün with Luther

Hamburg/Cologne, 21.12.2023 – It's official: solar project developer solargrün is now a wholly owned subsidiary of energy supplier LichtBlick. LichtBlick has once again relied on a team from Luther Rechtsanwaltsgesellschaft for the acquisition.

Background

The company solargrün, which specialises in the project development of ground-mounted solar plants, has already been working with LichtBlick for some time. With the acquisition, LichtBlick has secured access to a promising solar portfolio with over 100 projects and a total output of almost three gigawatts peak. In future, LichtBlick also intends to supply its customers with self-generated green electricity from its own solar parks. With the acquisition of solargrün, LichtBlick is further expanding its product portfolio in renewable energy generation.

LichtBlick and its Dutch parent company Eneco have already relied on Luther's advice for many years. Recently, Luther also advised LichtBlick on the acquisition of Installion GmbH. Luther's special expertise in the energy/M&A sector has now also paid off in the acquisition of solargrün.
