Dr Corzelius advises national and international companies on all matters of individual and collective employment law as well as on service agreements. He assists his clients with staff adjustment measures and provides ongoing advice on all relevant matters in this regard, including representation in court. He supports HR departments in their day-to-day work and was able to deepen his knowledge during a secondment with a large, international company.
A main focus of his practice is advising on the employment of foreign nationals.
Dr Corzelius studied law at the University of Bonn (Germany) and was a research assistant in the employment law practice group of a large international law firm in Cologne (Germany).
From 2015 to 2018 he worked for Prof Dr Greiner whilst also working on his doctoral thesis. Afterwards he completed his legal training at the Higher Regional Court of Cologne (Germany) which included periods of training at the Labour Court of Bonn (Germany), the German Federal Ministry of Labour and Social Affairs and a large international law firm with a focus on employment law. Dr Corzelius joined Luther in 2020.
