Areas of practice

Martin Lawall advises clients on all matters pertaining to German and European antitrust law. This includes, in particular, acting as an advisor in antitrust fine, antitrust damages, merger control and abuse of dominance proceedings in Germany and abroad, as well as advising on the design of distribution systems and on cooperation arrangements between competitors and licence agreements. Martin Lawall also provides advice with a view to preventing infringements (compliance advice). Another focus area is the legally compliant design of subsidies in accordance with EU state aid law.

Practices
Vita

Martin Lawall studied law in Munich (Germany) and Glasgow (Scotland). After carrying out his legal training at the Higher Regional Court of Munich and in San Fransisco (USA), he initially worked as a research assistant and then as a lawyer in various large international and national law firms in the area of conflict resolution with a special emphasis on directors’ and managers’ liability.
