Dr Jan-Lukas Henkst advises domestic and international clients on all aspects of German and European antitrust law, as well as on energy law.
Dr Jan-Lukas Henkst studied law at the University of Würzburg (Germany) and simultaneously completed a European Law programme there.
He then went on to obtain a doctorate for a thesis written under the supervision of Prof. Dr Bien, Chair of Global Business Law, International Arbitration and Civil Law at the University of Würzburg, on an antitrust topic regarding the possibility of ex-post merger control.
Whilst working on his doctoral thesis and during his legal training at the Higher Regional Court of Dusseldorf (Germany), Jan-Lukas Henkst worked at an international commercial law firm, the Federal Cartel Office and a listed pharmaceutical and life science company in the area of antitrust law.
