Jan Hansen primarily advises on company pension schemes, insurance contract law and insurance supervisory law. His legal services further concentrate on advising non-profit and other corporations on matters regarding the adequacy of managing directors and board members’ remuneration, as well as advising pension payers in connection with sustainability-related disclosure requirements.
After studying law and carrying out his legal training in Cologne (Germany), Jan Hansen was admitted to the German Bar in 2017. Before joining Luther, he worked for a Cologne law firm that specialised in insurance and liability law, where he focused on representing life insurers, insurance intermediaries and private and public pension payers in court.
