Anja Wechsler

Anja Wechsler advises companies on legal issues arising when introducing carbon capture and utilisation technology and on electricity price compensation issues, amongst other things. Her work further includes monitoring the European legislative procedures to amend the Emissions Trading Directive and adopt a European Supply Chain Act.

Anja Wechsler studied law with an emphasis on European and international law at the University of Hamburg (Germany) and at Paris Nanterre University (France) until 2017. She then carried out her legal training at the Higher Regional Court of Hamburg, which inter alia included training periods at the German Embassy in Riga (Latvia), at the Higher Regional Court of Hamburg and in the public business law department of a medium-sized commercial law firm. Anja Wechsler is currently doing a doctorate in international law, on a topic regarding the international protection of human rights. Anja Wechsler joined Luther in 2019 and was admitted to the German Bar in 2021.
