Market entry in Germany: Luther advises Delta Plus Group on acquisition of Artex

The French Delta Plus Group has taken over Artex Personensicherungssysteme GmbH, a German manufacturer of personal fall protection equipment. A team from Luther Rechtsanwaltsgesellschaft provided legal advice to Delta Plus on the transaction.

The listed Delta Plus Group, which is based in Apt, France, is one of the European market leaders in the field of personal protective equipment (PPE). With the acquisition of Artex, the undertaking is expanding its European presence and with Germany entering one of the most important European markets in the PPE sector.

Artex Personensicherungssysteme was founded in Oberraden in the German state of Rhineland-Palatinate in 2000. It produces and distributes a complete range of personal fall protection equipment; products include, for example, harnesses, ropes, fall arrest systems and basket stretchers.
