Christoph Grünenthal studied law and political science in Göttingen (Germany) and Paris (France). Whilst at university, he worked at a chair of civil law at Georg August University in Göttingen. He then worked as a research assistant for various domestic and foreign-based commercial law firms. Christoph Grünenthal carried out his legal training at the Higher Regional Court of Berlin (Germany). He was admitted to the German Bar in 2023 and joined Luther the same year as a lawyer.
