Luther advises StudySmarter on cooperation

The Munich EdTech Startup StudySmarter is expanding its digital offer and will in future also be addressing pupils. The startup has entered into a prominent cooperation with STARK Verlag, a German market leader in the field of exam preparation. Luther Rechtsanwaltsgesellschaft provided legal advice to StudySmarter on the conclusion of this cooperation.

Background

StudySmarter offers a comprehensive learning app that helps prepare for exams by creating individual learning plans. Up to now, the offer has been directed exclusively to students. From now on, StudySmarter will enter the school market with the goal of digitizing the preparation for exams. Further classes and school types are to follow in the near future.

In addition to STARK Verlag, the startup will be supported in the future by its cooperation partners: Ed Tech Startup EasyTutor, which helps students find qualified tutors, and Essen-based startup AbiHome, which operates the largest organizational platform for high school students in Germany.
