Hanover Chamber of Commerce and Industry sells headquarters

Hanover – The Hanover Chamber of Commerce and Industry (IHK) sells its headquarters to the BAUM Group. A team from Luther Rechtsanwaltsgesellschaft provided legal and tax advice to the seller.

Background

After a multi-stage bidding process, the Hanover Chamber of Commerce and Industry’s headquarters on Berliner Allee will be sold to the Baum Group. The Chamber of Commerce and Industry is convinced that this buyer will develop a sustainable solution for the subsequent use of the entire ensemble at this location. BNP Paribas and Luther provided support for the “sale and lease back” transaction.

Luther had previously conducted the acquisition process for the new headquarters of the Hanover Chamber of Commerce and Industry, which will be built on Bischofsholer Damm by the Hanover property developer bauwo and are scheduled to be ready for occupancy by mid-2023.

Until the move to the new building, the Hanover Chamber of Commerce and Industry will continue its business operations and its services for member companies, training companies and trainees at its Schiffgraben location.
