Dennis Gerdes advises on matters related to environmental, climate protection and energy law, with a particular emphasis on environmental compliance (European Deforestation Regulation, ESG issues and EU Taxonomy Regulation, as well as German and European supply chain law). His practice also concentrates on climate protection law (in particular, decarbonisation of industrial companies) and waste management and recycling law (“circular economy”).
Dennis Gerdes studied law at Leuphana University in Lüneburg (Germany) until 2019, graduating with an LL.B. and an LL.M. (Sustainability Law – Energy, Resources, Environment).
Before joining Luther in 2023, Dennis Gerdes worked for several years in one of the Big Four firms.
