Luther Rechtsanwaltsgesellschaft mbH can look back on an extremely successful 2024/2025 financial year.

Background
  • With total output of €249.3 million, the law firm recorded revenue growth of 9.7% compared to the previous year.
  • The average number of professionals rose by 5.4% to 430 FTE*.
  • The dispute resolution practice developed particularly positively and led to a nomination for the JUVE Awards as Law Firm of the Year.

Luther Rechtsanwaltsgesellschaft mbH is delighted with an extremely successful 2024/2025 financial year and a nomination for the JUVE Awards 2025 in the Dispute Resolution category.

The 9.7% growth was driven primarily by strong demand in the areas of energy transition, decarbonisation and sustainable infrastructure. The Dispute Resolution practice performed particularly well. Luther's advice on national and international disputes – for example, relating to energy supply, investment funds, investment advisory liability and banking law – as well as the use of its own IT and AI tools, for example in a major mandate in the field of e-mobility, led to a nomination for the JUVE Awards 2025 as Law Firm of the Year.

Increasing regulatory requirements in the ESG environment also led to a significant increase in the volume of advice provided. In addition, compliance issues and digitalisation solutions proved to be key growth drivers.

The five focused industry groups – Energy, Mobility & Logistics, Real Estate & Infrastructure, Information Tech & Telecommunications, and Health Care & Life Science – further consolidated their market position. A key success factor was the increased cross-location collaboration, which made it possible to handle complex mandates efficiently and develop innovative consulting services.

‘Despite a challenging economic environment, the 2024/2025 financial year was a successful one for our law firm,’ explains Elisabeth Lepique, Managing Partner of Luther Rechtsanwaltsgesellschaft mbH. ‘The high demand for legal expertise in times of economic uncertainty has further strengthened our position as a strategic partner for companies and public sector clients.’

For the coming financial year 2025/26, we expect the environment to remain challenging, but also full of opportunities. The demand for highly specialised legal advice will continue to rise – particularly in the areas of restructuring, foreign trade law, public commercial law and ESG compliance,’ says Markus Sengpiel, Managing Partner of Luther Rechtsanwaltsgesellschaft mbH. With a strategic focus on these areas and the addition of IT-supported concepts, Luther remains a reliable partner in a volatile market environment.

In parallel with the increase in revenue, Luther has also invested in client loyalty and internal networking. The aim is to further deepen relationships with clients and promote personal exchange between employees.
