Theresa Preßler advises on all aspects of international trade and distribution law. She also practices international insolvency law, where she primarily represents creditors. A key focus of her work is supporting companies in connection with warranty, guarantee, and liability claims, as well as all types of insolvency-related claims, particularly in cross-border disputes.
Theresa Preßler studied law in Freiburg, Salamanca, and at Humboldt University in Berlin. She completed her legal clerkship at the Federal Ministry of Economics, an environmental NGO, and with criminal defense attorney Dr. Eda Tekin, among others. Her doctoral thesis on “Artificially Intelligent Assistants” took her to Switzerland for an extended stay, where she conducted research on the intersection of law and innovative technologies together with Prof. Dr. Melinda Lohmann at the University of St. Gallen. After working for over a year as a lawyer at Bär & Karrer in Zurich, she joined Luther in October 2025 and has since strengthened the commercial team in Munich.
