Areas of practice

Julian Günniker's main areas of expertise are the planning, structuring and implementation of procurement procedures in the above-threshold and below-threshold areas. He advises both public contracting authorities and bidders.
In addition to large construction, planning and supply contracts, he also supports projects in the field of procurement law based on subsidy law provisions. His areas of activity cover the entire duration of the procurement procedure: from the preparation of tender documents, the examination and evaluation of applications for participation and bids, to the conduct of negotiations and the preparation of procurement law documentation and justification of the award decision. His tasks also include all documentation relating to the implementation of the procedure.

Vita

Julian Günniker studied law at the University of Osnabrück. During his legal clerkship at the Essen Regional Court in the Hamm Higher Regional Court district, Mr. Günniker worked as a research assistant at Luther's Essen office in the field of public procurement law. He was admitted to the bar in November 2024 and has been practising as a solicitor in public procurement law ever since.
