Julian Albrecht advises clients from the public and private sectors on all aspects of IT, AI and data law. His particular areas of interest and expertise include platform-based business models and issues relating to AI and data governance. His work focuses on the tension between data access, data protection and the protection of trade secrets.
Julian Albrecht studied law at the University of Münster, specialising in digital law. He subsequently worked there as a research assistant in the fields of copyright and data protection law. He completed his legal training with placements at the Federal Chancellery, in the IP/IT team of an international commercial law firm, and in the legal department of a leading bicycle manufacturer.
