John Heidemann provides targeted and reliable advice to public clients and companies on EU-wide and national procurement procedures.

He assists counties, cities, municipalities and other public contracting authorities in the planning, coordination and implementation of projects. During the ongoing procurement process, John Heidemann handles applicant and bidder queries in a solution-oriented manner, evaluates participation requests and bids in accordance with procurement law, and completes the procurement process in close consultation with the public contracting authorities.

John Heidemann provides comprehensive advice on all possible procurement processes in Germany. His focus is on planning and construction contracts.

Vita

John Heidemann studied law at Martin Luther University Halle-Wittenberg. He then completed his Master's degree in Business Law and Economic Law (LL.M. oec.) in Halle and at the University of Stirling, Scotland. After passing his first state examination, John Heidemann gained his first practical experience in various international commercial law firms, including in the field of public procurement. He then obtained his doctorate and worked at Bucerius Law School in Hamburg. During his legal clerkship at the Higher Regional Court of Celle, John Heidemann held various positions at federal authorities, including at the German Embassy in Manila.

He has been admitted to the bar since March 2026 and is a member of the Hanseatic Bar Association.
