John Heidemann studied law at Martin Luther University Halle-Wittenberg. He then completed his Master's degree in Business Law and Economic Law (LL.M. oec.) in Halle and at the University of Stirling, Scotland. After passing his first state examination, John Heidemann gained his first practical experience in various international commercial law firms, including in the field of public procurement. He then obtained his doctorate and worked at Bucerius Law School in Hamburg. During his legal clerkship at the Higher Regional Court of Celle, John Heidemann held various positions at federal authorities, including at the German Embassy in Manila.
He has been admitted to the bar since March 2026 and is a member of the Hanseatic Bar Association.
