Eva König, MBA (HfWU Nürtingen)

Eva König is responsible for the business development and marketing activities of our China practice and supports our China Desk in German-Chinese corporate transactions. She speaks Chinese and actively promotes match-making between German companies and Chinese investors. She wrote her MBA thesis in English on the topic ‘Chinese M&A Outbound Investments and Post-Merger Integration: Motives, Risks and Success Factors Based on Case Studies from Practice’.

Eva König studied Sinology at the University of Tübingen (Germany) and Peking University (China) and went on to gain a Master's degree in Asia-Pacific International Relations from Xiamen University (China) and an MBA in International Management from Nürtingen-Geislingen University (Germany). Ms König lived and worked in China for several years, where she worked for the economic development agency Baden-Württemberg International in Nanjing, among other things. After returning to Germany, she worked for four years as a project manager for a Chinese consulting firm in Dusseldorf, supporting Chinese companies entering the German market. Before joining Luther in 2019, she worked for Porsche AG and for Rödl & Partner in Stuttgart.
